Welcome to the Foundry

The Foundry provides a faster and more reliable computing process for the researchers of Missouri S&T. With 11,000 cores running at 2.3 Ghz across ~160 nodes for computing, the Foundry is capable of running at speeds ten times faster than its predecessor, The Forge. This includes 6 GPU nodes with 4 Nvidia V100 GPUs a piece. The backbone of the Foundry was funded by the National Science Foundation through a Major Research Instrumentation grant. Please acknowledge NSF award OAC-1919789 in your publications if the Foundry was used in producing the results presented in the publications. Eligible students can gain a free account through their departments. Researchers wanting to take full advantage of the Foundry's capabilities should also contact their department or Dr. Stephen Gao for more information.
