Invest in the future
Welcome to the Center for High Performance Computing Research.
Missouri S&T provides flexible, high-performance computing and GPU processing capacity to researchers through The Forge and the Numerically Intensive Computing Cluster. These systems of computers are optimized to perform a variety of computationally-intensive research tasks. Both clusters are a resource for the entire Missouri S&T community; however, research groups may also purchase allocations or contribute nodes for on-demand high-performance computing.
Zhou receives NSF Career Award
Dr. Caizhi Zhou is part of an HPC research team working to study and design materials through large scale computational simulations.
Significant investment expands HPC center
A $400,000 investment by the university will result in a tripling of the computer power currently available to campus researchers.
Researchers from departments across campus conduct important research out of the HPC center. The center's high-powered computers allow these researchers to do the forward thinking research Missouri S&T is known for.
